Serving people with life-limiting, progressive illnesses in Carroll County, Maryland and the surrounding areas for more than 20 years.
Carroll Hospice opened its doors in 1986 to offer quality and compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in Carroll County and the surrounding areas.
Our program offers all components of hospice care, including medical and nursing care, counseling and spiritual and bereavement support for family and friends.
We provide hospice care directly, and in cooperation with, a patient’s physician and family in a loving, concerned environment—most often the patient’s home. Care may also be provided at our inpatient facility, The Dove House.

Carroll Home Care, Carroll Hospice is a private, nonprofit organization that is certified by Medicare and licensed by the State of Maryland to provide hospice care.
Carroll Hospice is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). CHAP accreditation publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and/or community-based health care.
